Sapporo City Participating in Bits & Pretzels for the First Time

Sapporo City is making its first ever appearance at the Bits & Pretzels event in Munich, Germany (September 29 and October 1 2024), with the goal of fostering collaboration and strengthening the startup ecosystem in Europe.

This joint exhibition with JETRO and STARTUP HOKKAIDO will help to promote local businesses and attract international investments. The city will also be proactively promoting the newly established one-stop business support service – Sapporo Transnational Expansion and Partnership (STEP).

Three leading companies from Sapporo City are also joining the event.

AWL – AI video analytics services
Chowa Giken – AI-driven digital transformation consulting
Letara – Propulsion systems for small satellites

Together, these companies represent Sapporo’s drive to expand its global presence and connect with potential partners from around the world, aiming to enhance the city’s role in the global tech ecosystem.
